For most trips — no! I'm paid a commission directly by the travel suppliers (cruise lines, resorts, tour operators), so my planning services are usually free to you. For very complex itineraries or trips that require extensive custom research, a small planning fee may apply — but I'll always tell you upfront before any fee is charged.

Four big reasons: (1) Time — I do the hours of research for you. (2) Expertise — I know which cabins to avoid, which excursions are worth it, and which resorts deliver on their promises. (3) Better deals & perks — I have access to exclusive rates, early booking bonuses, onboard credits, room upgrades, and supplier perks you won't find on a booking site. (4) Support — when something goes wrong (a cancelled flight, a hotel mix-up), you have me as your advocate, not a chatbot.

Hotels, vacation homes, activities, and car rentals — yes, absolutely. Flights-only is the exception: airlines only pay commission when flights are bundled with a car or hotel, so I'd need to add a service fee. Not a dealbreaker, just good to know upfront.

It depends on the trip. Cruises and group tours often need 6–12 months. International trips during peak season (summer Europe, holiday travel) — at least 4–6 months. All-inclusive resorts can sometimes be booked just weeks out. Reach out as early as you can; I'll tell you the best window for your specific destination.

This is where having a travel advisor really matters. I always recommend travel insurance (and can help you choose a policy). If something goes sideways before or during your trip, you call me — not a 1-800 number. I'll work directly with the supplier to rebook, refund, or fix the issue.

Yes! Group travel is one of my favorite things to plan — from family reunions to milestone birthdays to destination weddings. I can often unlock group rates and perks that aren't available to individual bookings.

I'm based in Factoryville, PA, but I work with clients across the entire United States. Everything is handled remotely — phone, email, text, or video call — so where you live doesn't matter.
